Which men's dress-casual shoes will last the longest and are still a good deal?

I have tended to buy cheaper shoes that look nice and are comfortable, but don%26#039;t last long. I want to find the %26#039;middle%26#039; ground%26#039; of a good brand of men%26#039;s shoes that will last me a long time, but that won%26#039;t break the bank. Any experience or advice?

Hush Puppies, Aldo, Arnold Churgin, Rockports, there are tons of brands that make middle range, reasonably priced shoes. Some people are just hard on them no matter how much or little they are used. Go for real leather, not plastic pleather faux cow hide crap. Thick soles, nothing flimsey. And make sure they are a good fit. Shoes too big will bend and crack. Shoes too small will cause foot pain and you won%26#039;t want to wear them as much, or you%26#039;ll wear the heels out unevenly by walking funny.

Hit the malls man.
Reply:Doctor Martens are the only way to go.
Reply:Go to %26quot;Bob%26#039;s Stores%26quot; (they have a good selection of mens shoes) or %26quot;Famous Footwear%26quot; and get yourself a pair of sketchers.

They are not real expensive, they last a long time, they look cool and they are wicked comfortable.
Reply:Weston. been wearing the same pair once a week for 15 years. they look as new. only catch $600 a pair. but they last for ever.

in the store, in paris, i saw an indian guy come in with like 10 pairs to have resoled. the shoes were 20 years old on average. bottom line. they last.
